Hello All Incoming Freshman,
TCNJ AAA would like to invite you to come visit our interest booth on Thursday August 22nd at 9:00pm at the Brower Student Center. We will be giving away free cookies! Also there are games to play. Please come and bring some friends! Have fun and learn about what we do in our organization. Tired of Eickhoff food? Don't feel like cooking? Then come to the Multicultural Buffet! The Pan-Asian Alliance is hosting the Multicultural Buffet in the Student Center Atrium. Come for great food and a performance by TCNJ Taiko!
It's $3 for food (Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, and Indian!) and $1 for bubble tea--come quickly before all the food runs out! November 7 at 7:00PM in the Student Center! BE THERE! The Pan Asian Room is FINALLY open!
The PAR is a place where most of the clubs in the Pan-Asian Alliance have their club meetings. It's also a place where anyone can just go and hang out. It's great during meal equiv hours when there's no place to sit. For those who don't know where the PAR is, it's the room the bookstore used to distribute online book orders. If you're at the Fair Grounds coffee stand, just go a little bit further. There's a COMPUTER LAB sign over the door. So come and hang with us!!! Yes, we decided to have a dinner at Eickhoff. I know that doesn't sound too exciting, but hey! It's a fast and easy way to get to know each other. I promise we'll have more fun and exciting activities in the future (such as dancing, concerts, comedians), so keep a lookout in your inbox for updates on that :)
Anyway! We'll meet at the Eickhoff entrance closest to the Convenience store at 7:30PM, Wednesday, September 12. Hope to see a lot of new faces! Come enjoy a FREE stand-up comedy show featuring Eliot Chang!! The stand-up comedy segment will be followed by a Q&A diversity workshop to present issues faced by Asian-Americans and other cultures.
Doors open at 7:45PM, show starts at 8PM! Eliot Chang's "Comedy Central Presents" half hour special was voted #2 in the Comedy Central Stand Up Showdown 2011. Other TV appearance include E!'s "Chelsea Lately" and Showtime's "Minority Report." Sharp biting opinions combined with his trademark polished wardrobe make Eliot's live performances memorable. Every year Eliot tours America for 8 months and has performed at over 400 colleges. For more information on Eliot Chang, his website ishttp://www.eliotchang.com/.
